When I saw the first one I thought some animal had left some droppings! Next time I looked closer......I was at the beach in Gray land, Washington, which is very misty and rainy and lots of these guys!

Mulberry Tree's Week Two...

One week later Doug and Dan come back with Keith, who is a tree man! Down come all the trees.... Much thanks to all the boys!

The Mulberry Trees

The boys (Bobby and Doug) decided that my Mulberry trees needed to come down. The mess this years was the worst ever!!! Well, Doug comes over with Dan and they begin to take down the trees. Because of chain saw problems, they resort to the hand saw. It took a little more work than they thought but they didn't give up till it was down and in the street.

Dan packs on the branches and off they go..... What a couple of guys!!!!

Nature Walk with Kids.....

Claire got the best part of the walk, after breakfast together, with a full tummy, she got a nap.


Remember walking down a path???? I have been thinking of old paths that I would walk. When I was in 5th grade we moved to the end of a new housing development in Woodland Hill, California. We had to walk to school. Debbie, Peter and I walked around the foot hill on path to school. We were told not to walk up into the foothills, but I did several times. We had to watch out for large hairy spiders called tarantula's.....Here is the path we walked today...
